Fred Rogers Center

We reckon you only know half of the Fred Rogers story. The new website gets you closer to a man who was way ahead of his time.

As one person who worked on this project said, “Sometimes it’s more than just a job.”

Creating an attractive, usable website to communicate the work of the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning & Children’s Media was just that—an opportunity to convey Fred Rogers’ vision to help children grow as confident, competent, caring human beings.

A “job” doesn’t get much better than that.

Using the powerful but economical WordPress to enable staff to easily manage content, the site features incredible imagery—many shot by photographer Lynn Johnson—of Fred through the years as well as a clean design that is nearly as timeless as Fred’s wisdom.
